Positioned in a high desert basin surrounded by captivating spires in picturesque badlands, the landscape provides a remarkably scenic backdrop with hiking opportunities around the impressive hoodoos.

Designed for one or two vehicles, the gentle gravel BLM roads leading to the site are accessible year-round, making it an ideal choice for any vehicle type. Revel in a fantastic view of the sky, facilitating satellite connectivity, while the landscape itself offers effective shelter from the wind, enhancing the overall camping experience.

As a public recreation area, expect the company of fellow campers and sightseers, especially during peak seasons. Notably, within the recreation area, three other designated campsites share similar features.
