This spot, occasionally used by others, presents a serene environment, potentially linked to mining activity. Surrounded by the scenic beauty of desert mountains, the location offers tranquility and breathtaking views.

Benefit from good cell service, ensuring connectivity, and relish excellent privacy in this quiet desert retreat. Enjoy an unobstructed view of the expansive sky, ideal for satellite connectivity. Accessible by any stock four-wheel-drive vehicle, the site accommodates two or three vehicles with room for more on neighboring sides.

While industry elements are visible in the distance to the southeast, creating a unique backdrop, occasional train sounds add to the ambient charm. Although cattle sounds are audible nearby, no visible traces were noted. Conveniently located not far from town, this campsite provides easy access to fuel, food, and supplies. Experience the perfect blend of solitude and accessibility in the heart of the Sonoran Desert.

We’ve been here in-person, but it might have been a while. To our knowledge, this spot is currently open and accessible, but that can easily change, so always have a back-up plan!
