Description

Experience a convenient yet serene dispersed campsite nestled in a grassy canyon amid the rolling hills of Coronado National Forest. Located along a forest road spur, this idyllic site offers tranquility while being easily accessible.

Situated about a quarter mile off a well-groomed forest road, this campsite is accessible via a gentle two-track suitable for any stock four-wheel drive vehicle. Privacy is ensured by a dip at the road entrance that prevents larger vehicles and RVs from entering, creating a secluded setting.

The flat terrain next to a dry wash features a stone fire ring and provides enough space for two or three vehicles. While cell service is passable and satellite connectivity is decent, the site offers moderate privacy despite regular traffic through the area.

Enjoy quiet nights under the shade of a few large trees flanking the site, making it a comfortable and accessible spot for camping in Coronado National Forest.

Always tread lightly, leave no trace, respect the wishes of landowners, and leave campsites cleaner than you found them. Be the very best steward of our public spaces that you can possibly be so that they remain public.
