Description

Discover a secluded campsite nestled on a bed of red dirt in Prescott National Forest. Situated near the end of a fourteen-mile primitive track, this tranquil spot offers peace and solitude amidst scenic surroundings.

Accessed via a four-wheel drive with decent ground clearance, this campsite is ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat. Located just a short distance from rock formations, ancient cliff dwellings, and the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness, it offers access to scenic hiking trails.

While cell service may be poor, the campsite provides a clear view of the sky for satellite connectivity. With enough room for one or two vehicles, good privacy, and shelter provided by junipers, it's a lovely spot for a peaceful camping experience in Prescott National Forest.

Always tread lightly, leave no trace, respect the wishes of landowners, and leave campsites cleaner than you found them. Be the very best steward of our public spaces that you can possibly be so that they remain public.
