Situated along a BLM road spur, this campsite is flanked by an expanse of desert Wilderness on both sides, offering an immersive and secluded natural experience. Accessible via a primitive two-track suitable for any four-wheel-drive vehicle, although larger vehicles should exercise caution due to close vegetation that may lead to scratches. A public wire gate marks the entrance to the BLM road just off the highway, enhancing the sense of arrival and seclusion.

While cell service is limited, the site compensates with an exceptional view of the sky, creating an ideal environment for stargazing and satellite connectivity. Providing ample space for a single vehicle and a ground tent, along with a small stone fire ring, the soft and flat ground enhances the overall camping experience. Despite the distant sound of the highway a couple of miles away, it remains unobtrusive, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility.

Encounter the vibrant Sonoran Desert with singing birds and rolling mountains to the west, creating a verdant and beautiful landscape. While other campers may be present, traffic remains minimal, ensuring a decent level of privacy. Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of this section of the Sonoran Desert, making it an inviting and delightful place to spend a couple of nights in nature.

Always tread lightly, leave no trace, respect the wishes of landowners, and leave campsites cleaner than you found them. Be the very best steward of our public spaces that you can possibly be so that they remain public.
