Description
If you're looking for a remote and secluded primitive campsite in the desert, then this location might be right up your alley. Located approximately one mile from the highway, this campsite offers a great deal of privacy and serenity. The campsite is situated in a mountainous area of the desert, and you'll be able to enjoy some nice views in all directions without having to climb to a high elevation. You'll also be able to see some cattle, horses, and donkeys grazing in the area.
While the campsite is quite remote, it's still accessible by a rough BLM road. This road is a dead-end, so you can expect little or no traffic. However, it's important to note that you'll need a four-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the dense vegetation that lines the road. You should also be prepared for some scratches on your vehicle. There may be a cattle gate that you'll need to open and close behind you.
Once you arrive at the campsite, you'll find that there is enough room for several vehicles between the two neighboring sites. You'll be able to enjoy the privacy and solitude that this location offers, but you should also be aware that there is some distant highway noise. Additionally, there is no cell service in the area, so you'll need to be prepared to disconnect from the outside world during your stay. Overall, if you're looking for a primitive camping experience in the desert, then this location comes highly recommended.
