Description
If you're looking for a quiet and secluded camping experience, the primitive campsite near the Trigo Mountains on BLM land may be just what you need. This desert plateau offers a large fire ring and sparse vegetation, with sandy washes flanking the area. While it is exposed to the elements, there is some cell service and great sky visibility for Starlink. This campsite is accessible by stock four-wheel drive vehicles of any size, making it a great option for those who are running the Peace Trail with a group.
In addition to the peaceful surroundings, the Trigo Mountain Wilderness offers fantastic hiking opportunities, and the nearby Arizona Peace Trail is a popular circuit in the southwestern part of the state for motorized adventure. With enough room for several campers, this campsite is highly recommended for those looking to experience the beauty of the Arizona desert. So pack your bags, grab your camping gear, and get ready to enjoy all that this beautiful location has to offer!
Always tread lightly, leave no trace, respect the wishes of landowners, and leave campsites cleaner than you found them. Be the very best steward of our public spaces that you can possibly be so that they remain public.
