Description

Explore this primitive dispersed lower elevation campsite nestled in a valley, discreetly tucked away in a tree line just off a forest road. The site features a small stone fire ring located next to a refreshing stream, providing an excellent water source. While cell service is unavailable, the site accommodates one or two vehicles, with accessibility ensured for any stock four-wheel-drive vehicle.

To the south, conifers offer shade and effective protection from the elements, creating a comfortable camping environment. Enjoy a scenic view of the valley to the north, with a forest road stretching for miles over a mountain pass. Suitable for four-wheel-drive vans and full-size trucks, this campsite is not accessible during winter.

While satellite connectivity may be possible, the view of the sky is limited due to the valley and nearby trees. Note that July visits may contend with bothersome flies. Despite some light forest road traffic approximately 100 yards away, privacy is maintained, making this an excellent retreat during a four-wheel-drive adventure, away from more crowded camping areas. Consider this campsite for your next outdoor escape.

Always tread lightly, leave no trace, respect the wishes of landowners, and leave campsites cleaner than you found them. Be the very best steward of our public spaces that you can possibly be so that they remain public.
