Description

Explore a cozy primitive campsite nestled along the scenic shores of Lake Huron within Hiawatha National Forest. The site features a rustic stone fire ring, offering a serene setting to enjoy the outdoors. While cell service is reliable, the dense forest canopy limits satellite connectivity.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the forested area, with towering conifers lining the picturesque shoreline. Experience the pristine waters of Lake Huron, perfect for swimming and water activities. Ample space is available for one or two vehicles, with similar spots nearby.

Accessible via a gentle forest road, a four-wheel drive is recommended for the campsite entrance. While the area remains tranquil during the winter months, it may see increased activity in the summer season. Don't miss out on this fantastic camping spot for your outdoor adventures!

Always tread lightly, leave no trace, respect the wishes of landowners, and leave campsites cleaner than you found them. Be the very best steward of our public spaces that you can possibly be so that they remain public.
